Cardmaking gives us an opportunity to bless those around us by using our creativity to share kindness and love. Many times, these are happy occasions and at other times these are sad occasions. Especially at these times, a handmade card with a heartfelt note means a lot to someone who is going through a rough patch.
For Colour Palette #42 I created a sympathy card. These cards can be quite difficult to create because I for one, tend to want to create happy cards.
I used the Painted Lavender bundle with the Perennial Postage dies to create a card with a simply layout. The addition of the striped Designer Series Paper really brings out the lavender in Gorgeous Grape.
Embossing is a beautiful and quick way to add texture. Here I’ve used the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder which comes with a stamp set. Available during our Sale-A-Bration promotion, this bundle can be yours free with an order of $180 until 29th February.
