Create a Cute Koala Card with the Wild Bunch Stamp Set

Last night on my FB Live I created this cute card using this month’s Product of the Month. The Wild Bunch Stamp Set is already a favourite among many of us. I love the cute images in it and with a koala – it’s made for us Aussies! The stamp set not only has sweet images, it also has a lovely range of sentiments, making it suitable for lots of occasions. This Just a Note sentiment is perfect for any time, when you really don’t need a reason to send a card.

On my Live, I went through the design process and you can see how I worked through my options. There were times I was indecisive and had to make some changes. Of course we all know this is part of the creative process. I love sharing this with you and I hope you enjoy the process as you watch the video below.

The koala was coloured in a range of Watercolour Pencils to give a beautiful, realistic, textured look. I’ve used other techniques on this card which you can follow along in the video.

The colour palette was beautiful and actually pre-determined by my selection of the Delicate Dreams Designer Series Paper. With the foliage and the earthy colours it worked really well for the Wild Bunch set,

My card has been inspired by the sketch at TGIF Challenge TGIFC581 and Just Add Ink Challenge JAI787. For the Just Add Ink Challenge we had to Choose Two or More and I’ve chosen Patterned Paper, Animals and Twine.
