Have a Good Day – Extraordinary Life Bundle

The Extraordinary Life Bundle is in my Top 5 favourite products from the January – April Mini catalogue for a very good reason. I love all the individual dies that come with the set and that you can use them combined or pull them apart to use with other products. The layering aspect of these stamps and dies are amazing and I am loving all the texture that they give.

This card is quite simple when you break it down. The Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series provides a chic Black & White background. On this, I had some fun with layering lots of elements.

Beginning with the note pad (which I could use on every project!), I blended some Flirty Flamingo ink, stamped the hexagons in Daffodil Delight and then stamped the sentiment. This was added to a crushed piece of Pool Party patterned paper.

The ampersand was die cut from Fluid 100 and blended with Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Lost Lagoon. A spritz of water gives it the beautiful texture.

One of my favourite things about this card is how all the seemingly random elements come together to create a beautiful layered cluster. Each piece adds a little bit of interest.

The butterfly, stamped in black, ties in perfectly with the patterned background and helps to unify all the different elements. A few Pool Party Dots from the Array of Dots embellishments add the perfect finishing touch, bringing in a little extra dimension and balance.
