Caseing the Catty Challenge CTC579 - Bundle

This week our Caseing the Catty Challenge CTC579 theme is to Case a bundle from the Stampin’ Up! May-August Catalogue

To CASE is to Copy and Selectively Edit a project either directly, take elements of it and create your own version. I’m Caseing this card from Page 37 of the catalogue which uses the Fern and Flora Bundle which is part of the Moonlit Flora suite.

This is a card I have been looking at many times because I love the layered elements and how there is so much technique shown on it.

2026 July Product of the Month, Begonia Belle Stamp Set

I’m using the Begonia Belle stamp set which is our July Product of the Month. When you place an order of $125 or more, you can qualify to purchase this stamp set for $9. The flower was stamped in Crushed curry and I added some Pool Party leaves around it. This is a two-step stamping set which allows you to get beautifully coloured images with detail. I then fussy cut each image for my focal cluster. To create the smaller leaves I blended a panel of White Cardstock with Shaded Spruce ink and then spritzed it with water. This was die cut with the Forever Florals Dies.

I’ve followed the basic sketch of the original card. A die cut criss cross element in Berry Burst adds contrast and a nice pop of colour. This replaces the negative die cut which was a feature on the Fern & Flora card.

I die cut this, (as well as the heat embossed Coastal Cabana panel) from last year’s Brights Designer Series Paper which I thought was still current. However, you could replace this with DSP of the same colour or even blend some Cardstock to achieve similar results.

I stamped the Best Wishes sentiment on White Cardstock and coloured around in the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend. This blended softly with the Baker’s Twine and Pearls without giving a harsh look.
