In this week’s Step-it-Up Sunday I wanted to use some of our retiring products. A few of the inks that are retiring are some of my favourite colours. I am especially mourning Rose Red so I’ve stocked up on refills and cardstock to keep me going,

This cute bike comes with baskets which can be filled with different flowers, books, fruit or even a cute doggie! My Basic card is purely stamping with a few layers of cardstock to add extra interest. The photopolymer stamps make it easy to line up the images. Always use a piercing mat under your cardstock when stamping with photopolymer stamps to get a good image.

For my Intermediate card, I masked the bike, and using the Pattern Party Decorative masks, sponged a brick wall in Crumb Cake. I added the extra die cut basket with the dog in the front. The Pink Pirouette panel has been embossed with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.

The more advanced card involves using the mask with Embossing paste to which I added a few drops of Crumb Cake ink refill. Once you apply your paste ensure you wash all your tools immediately so that the paste doesn’t harden.

All the images have been stamped and die cut. The Pink Pirouette panel has been embossed and a light sponging of Rose Red has been applied.

Although the bike stamp and  die will be carrying over, it won’t  be as a bundle. So if you want to save 10% on the bundle, you have until the end of May. Some of the products used on this project are only available while stocks last until 31st May.
