Thank You So Much – Cutest Crew Card

Could there be anything cuter than a bouquet of cats?!!! I’ve taken the Cutest Crew bundle and mashed it up with some other products to create this sweet card.

Inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches FMS741 and the Just Add Ink Challenge JAI788, I set about creating my card.

I used the Delicate Dreams and Artisan Sketch Garden Designer Series Papers to form the 3 rectangles of the sketch. The centre panel has been matte onto a Gray Granite layer for variation.

The leaves were from the Simply Celebrated Bundle which is currently on the Last Chance list. Watercoloured leaves in Hydrangea Hue and Azure Afternoon, sit amongst the fussy cut leaf from the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP.

As I coloured the cats, I could imagine our 2 kitty sisters – Dolce and Aria, perched just like this. Dolce – who is a little bit cheeky would be further up the branches (as she has done with our Christmas tree) and would be looking at how she could pounce on her sister, sleeping quietly below!

To mimic the knit on the blanket in the inspiration photo, I’ve embossed a layer of Cardstock with the Lovely Striped Embossing Folder. This is a favourite product of mine and I just love the elegant and crisp detail it gives.
